There is a market every Friday in the village square, an archeological Gallo-Romain museum and even a fishing lake set in parkland. Within easy reach of the chateaux and the ancient towns of the Loire with their many historic buildings. Visit the tombs of Richard the Lionheart and Eleanor of Aquitaine in the beautiful abbey town of Fontevraud, less than an hour's drive. The medieval city of Poitiers and 'Futuroscope' are only 30 minutes away. |

For wine lovers, follow 'La Route des Vins en Haut-Poitou', a total of 24 different chateaux and domains, each with their own unique welcome and style. "La Ferme du Miel" in the next village of Puyravault is well worth a visit to see just how busy French bees can be! |
Villa Tournesol is set in its own grounds with easy access by private road and parking to the rear. Kick back and relax whilst the children play safely in the large grassy field. Garden furniture and bicycles are provided. |
